About This Course

This curriculum is designed specifically for Caribbean LGBTQ+ organisations operating in diverse political, legal, cultural, and funding environments. The course emphasizes practical application, accessibility, and sustainability. Each 60-minute section combines instruction, examples, activities, and assessment in a self-paced format.

Since every CSO is different, this course is designed as a self-reflective journey unique to each participant. The practical activities present an opportunity to engage in analysis of their circumstances and lived experiences to strengthen their capacity, diversify funding sources, effectively position their work and develop sustainable resource mobilisation strategies to continue generating positive impact in their communities.

How do I get my certificate?

To successfully complete the course, you need to achieve at least an overall 60% in all graded activities. Certificates will be issued immediately to all participants as soon as they obtain a passing grade.

Am I suitable to take this course?

This is an introductory course for Community-Based and Society Organisations with different levels of skills and experience, so no previous knowledge or training are necessary. There are only three requirements for participants in this course:

  • Basic reading and comprehension abilities
  • Writing skills
  • A desire to learn about PAR and what it offers community groups

Is this course free?
